I recently had the best safari experience at a lodge in Ladysmith. The villas were gorgeous and provided the utmost comfort and cleanliness. The staff members were incredibly attentive and provided top-notch service. Our safari guide, Tayne, was the best I've ever had, finding lions, cheetahs, elephants. The meals were glorious and the portions generous. The game drives were both fun and educational, thanks to our knowledgeable ranger, Stefan. This lodge truly made me appreciate nature more.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The lodge's decoration was absolutely stunning, with a charming blend of African elements and modern comforts. The common areas were beautifully designed and created a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated how accessible the lodge was for older guests. The pathways were well-maintained and easy to navigate, and there were handrails in place for added support. It made exploring the lodge and enjoying the breathtaking surroundings a breeze.
I would have loved to see more staff members who were trained specifically in assisting senior guests. While the children working there were polite and helpful, having staff members who are knowledgeable about the needs and preferences of older individuals would have enhanced the vacation experience for senior people like myself.

As foreign tourists, we loved the top-notch service and feeling of being at home. The staff treated us like royalty and made our wedding anniversary truly special. The scenery on the drives to quieter areas was breathtaking. The game sightings were incredible, including a lion kill, and our knowledgeable guide ensured we saw all the big five.
Felt like a home away from home, no complaints whatsoever.

The pool terrace at the Main Lodge is like a social oasis, where guests can cool off in the infinity pool while enjoying the stunning panoramic view over the game reserve and waterhole. I spent hours on the comfortable poolside loungers, feeling like I was in paradise.
Limited vegetarian options.

The decor of the lodge was absolutely charming, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The common areas were well-maintained and easily accessible for senior guests.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff. Sometimes, the younger employees didn't seem to understand the needs and concerns of senior guests.

I recently stayed at a lodge in a beautiful natural reserve. The accommodations were stunning, with spacious and luxurious rooms. The views from the lodge were breathtaking, allowing me to truly connect with nature. The best part of my stay was the incredible animal sightings during the safari drives. I had close encounters with lions, elephants, rhinos, zebras, giraffes, and many more magnificent creatures. The knowledgeable guide made the experience even more extraordinary. The hospitality of the staff was exceptional, from the warm welcome to the delicious meals prepared by talented chefs. It truly felt like a home away from home. I highly recommend this lodge for an unforgettable experience.
Despite the countless positives, there were a few drawbacks during my stay. The dining options lacked variety, especially for non-meat eaters.

We had an amazing time during our Christmas stay at this lodge. The rooms were luxurious and spacious, with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful scenery and wildlife. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The game drives were the highlight of our trip, with close encounters with lions, elephants, and so much more. We also enjoyed the delicious meals prepared fresh for us.
While the portions at dinner were a bit large for us, the kitchen staff and chefs were accommodating and could have offered smaller portions. this was a minor issue and didn't diminish our overall experience at all.
